Real Estate Photography: Scheduling

There is a perfect world when the weather cooperates, the property is vacant and professionally staged, equipment works as planned, you have all the time in the world, and everything is just right. And then there is a real world: you have tiny window in early morning before owner goes to work, the sun is blasting, there are three little kids present on the property at the time of photoshoot, agent is asking about adding video, and there is a huge table that needs to be moved gazillion times from kitchen to living room and back.

So yes, scheduling in the real estate photography business is important. But the ability to work around ANY SCHEDULE is crucial. For this property in Peabody, MA, we had to reschedule once, and the only option (urgent sale!) left was Thursday, 7.45 AM. And that’s the beauty of being a full-time North Shore real estate photographer - I was able to manage this session on time, did all the photos + video walkthrough and b-roll for agent’s standup video. And all that in less than 1 hour.
